That’s why I’m excited to share this guide with you. Instead of simply listing the best electric razor on the market,
I’m going to approach this from a user-focused perspective. After all, everyone’s needs and preferences are different, and what works for one person may not work for another.
To create this guide, I’ve personally purchased and tested each of the razors I’ll be recommending.
I’ll share the pros and cons of each from my own experience as a regular user.
I believe that by the time you finish reading this article, you’ll have a clear understanding of what to look for in an electric razor and which one is best suited to your needs.
Whether you’re a seasoned electric razor user or a newcomer to the world of electric shaving, I hope this guide will be a valuable resource for you.
How come selecting a shaver has to be so needlessly complex?
To be honest, choosing an electric shaver can be a daunting task. With so many models and revisions out there, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed and unsure of where to begin. As someone who has spent a lot of time researching and testing electric shavers, I understand this frustration all too well.
One issue I’ve noticed is that the sheer number of options creates a paradox of choice. It can be challenging to narrow down the options and choose the best one for your needs.
I’ve found myself in the position of endlessly comparing several options, unsure of which one to choose.
On top of that, poor documentation of the differences between models can make the decision-making process even more difficult. Model names can be confusing, and manufacturers don’t always make it easy to understand the actual differences between razors in a particular series.
Many review sites are also filled with conflicting or irrelevant information about newly released models.
Another challenge is determining the significance of product updates. Sometimes, new shaver models are nothing more than cosmetic makeovers. While other times they represent a significant improvement in performance. It’s crucial to consider these factors when recommending or comparing electric shavers.
As someone who has personally purchased and tested a wide range of electric shavers, I’m here to provide you with comprehensive and user-focused guidance.
By the end of this article, I’m confident you’ll have a clear understanding of what to look for in an electric shaver and which one is the best fit for you.
What are the different types of electric razors for men?
When it comes to electric razors for men, there are several different types to choose from. It’s important to consider your personal preferences and face type when selecting the best option for you.
The first decision you’ll need to make is between a foil shaver, rotary shaver, or electric razor.
Here’s a closer look at each of the three options:
- Foil Shaver: A foil head shaver has blades that oscillate or sway back and forth. This motion allows the foil to glide smoothly over your face while the blades do the work of cutting the hair. Foil shavers are typically best for men with sensitive skin or fine hair.
- Rotary Shaver: In the mid-1960s, Philips introduced a new type of electric shaver with rotating heads. Today, these heads can flex inwards toward the center and are designed to provide close shaves in tight areas such as the nasal area or rugged facial structure. Rotary shavers are often a good choice for men with thick or coarse hair.
- Electric Razors: Electric razors are essentially automatic razors used with shaving cream. People with sensitive skin often prefer electric razors because they provide a close shave without the irritation that can come from traditional wet shaving. The shaving cream will bond to hair follicles, making them easier to cut with the razor. Ultimately, the type of electric razor that’s right for you will depend on your personal preferences and your individual grooming needs.
What’s the right shaver depending on your needs?
As an experienced electric razor user, I know that finding the right shaver is a personal choice influenced by different factors. Including facial hair particularities, sensitive skin, shaving habits, and budget.
It’s important to keep in mind that electric shaver reviews are subjective and biased by individual preferences.
What works for me may not necessarily work for someone else. This is why it’s crucial to consider multiple use cases and differences in users when recommending electric shavers.
For over 10 years, I have used and tested various electric razors. And from my experience, I have found that the following factors are crucial when choosing the right electric shaver:
Firstly, you should consider the shaver-specific pros and cons. Such as how close the shaver can shave, the level of comfort, speed, and ease of cleaning and maintenance.
Secondly, you should take into account your facial hair particularities. Every man has different facial hair types, which can include coarseness, hairs with different grains, flat-lying hairs, and rate of hair growth. These factors will determine the efficiency of an electric shaver.
Thirdly, if you have sensitive skin, you should factor in the predisposition to razor burn, rashes, ingrown hairs, bumps, and other potential issues. You need to select an electric shaver that caters to your specific needs.
Fourthly, your shaving habits are important. Whether you shave more or less often, and whether you prefer a dry or wet shave, can influence your choice of an electric razor.
Finally, you should consider your budget. The initial investment, replacement foils/blades, and cleaning solution are some of the expenses you should think about when choosing an electric shaver.
Taking a “holistic” approach that accounts for these aspects will exponentially increase the chances of finding a suitable shaving machine that performs great for your case.
Based on my experience, I have compiled a list of the best electric shavers that cater to those five key aspects mentioned above.
I will only present what’s genuinely important, including the negatives, from the perspective of someone who regularly uses and owns these products. I will also explain why I chose a particular model over another, taking into account factors such as price, availability, and genuinely useful features.
By doing so, I hope to help you make an informed decision when choosing the right electric razor for your needs.

The Braun Series 9 Pro certainly checks all those boxes.
One of the standout features of this razor is its exceptional shaving performance. Whether I was using it wet or dry, the Series 9 Pro always delivered a super smooth shave with minimal irritation.
Its powerful motor dispatched with even the most stubborn stubble quickly and efficiently, and the rechargeable battery lasted a solid 60 minutes, which means I only needed to recharge it every few weeks.
Another big plus is the self-cleaner base that comes with the razor. This nifty feature means I never have to worry about the hassle of cleaning my razor, as the base does it for me automatically.
Additionally, the travel case that doubles as a charger is a game-changer for me. I can now take the razor with me wherever I go, without the need for additional cables or chargers.
Now, let’s talk about the downsides. The first thing to note is the high cost. The Series 9 Pro is definitely on the pricey side, but I believe it’s worth the investment if you’re looking for a top-of-the-line electric razor.
Another potential issue is the maintenance cost, as the self-cleaner fluid and blade cassette both require replacement periodically, which can add up over time.
Lastly, while the pop-up trimmer is serviceable, it wasn’t the best of the bunch in my testing.
My impression:
Overall, I highly recommend the Braun Series 9 Pro 9477cc electric razor. It offers exceptional performance, convenience, and value, and I believe it’s an investment that will pay off in the long run.

3. Panasonic Arc 5 ES-LV65-S
Pros
- Extremely close shave
- Good value for money
- Precision blades and foils
- The fastest motor on the market
Cons
- Can be noisy
- The cleaning station is not included in the package
- May be too aggressive for sensitive skin
As someone who has tried both Braun and Panasonic shavers, I can confidently say that Panasonic is a serious contender in the foil shavers market. While Braun may be more popular in the USA, Panasonic’s quality and performance are outstanding.
Their Arc 5 line boasts 5 individual cutting elements, a fast linear-drive motor, and extremely sharp blades – making it a top contender for the ultimate electric razor.
When it comes to the Arc 5 line, the Panasonic ES-LV65-S from the second generation is my top pick. This shaver offers the best balance between cost and performance.
Although the newer ES-LV95 model may be available for less money, it shaves exactly the same as the ES-LV65-S.
Panasonic is arguably the best when it comes to closeness, thanks to its extremely thin foils machined with precision and high-quality, sharp blades that feature an aggressive 30 degrees bevel for effective cutting.
The motor powering the ES-LV65-S is the fastest I’ve seen, with a speed of 14,000 CPM, making it one of the fastest and closest shaving electric shavers you can buy. In comparison, the Braun Series 9 has a 10,000 CPM motor.
As a wet/dry model, the ES-LV65-S also offers the option to use it with your favorite shaving cream, improving the closeness and comfort of the shave. However, if you have a light beard or are just starting with electric shavers, the Arc 5 with its 5 blades and massive shaving head may be too much.
4. Braun Series 7 790cc
Pros
- Powerful motor
- Active lift technology
- Very comfortable

The Series 7 comes with several features that make it stand out. First, it has a powerful motor that delivers up to 10,000 micro-vibrations per minute.
This means that it can capture more hair with each stroke, resulting in a faster and smoother shave. Additionally, it has an active lift technology that captures flat-lying hairs and directs them toward the cutting elements.
This ensures that you get a closer shave, even in hard-to-reach areas.
The shaver also comes with a clean and charge station, which automatically cleans, lubricates, and charges the shaver. This feature ensures that your shaver remains in good condition and is ready for use at all times.

The shaver also has a precision trimmer, which is ideal for trimming sideburns and mustaches.
While the Series 7 790cc has several impressive features, it also has a few downsides. For one, it is slightly louder than some other electric shavers on the market.
Additionally, the clean and charge station can be quite bulky, which may make it difficult to store in small bathrooms.
My impression:
Overall, the Braun Series 7 790cc is an excellent electric shaver that offers reliable performance and quality construction. While it may have a few downsides, its pros far outweigh the cons.
If you’re looking for the best electric shaver that can provide a comfortable and close shave, then the Braun Series 7 790cc is definitely worth considering.

Additionally, the MicroComb technology captures more hair with each stroke, resulting in a faster shaving experience.
Another great feature of this shaver is its long-lasting battery life. With a full charge, I was able to get a week’s worth of shaving out of it. And when I was in a hurry, the quick charge feature came in handy as it provided enough power for one shave after just a five-minute charge.

It’s also very affordable, making it a great option for anyone looking for a high-quality shaver that won’t break the bank.
One of the standout features of the Panasonic Arc 3 is its three-blade cutting system. This allows for a closer shave than you might get with a two-blade system, and I definitely noticed a difference in the smoothness of my skin after using it.
The blades themselves are made of high-quality stainless steel, which means they should last for a long time without becoming dull or corroded.

10. Andis 17150 ProFoil Lithium Titanium Foil Shaver
Pros
- Long-lasting battery
- Can run while plugged in
- Hypo-allergenic gold-titanium foils
- Powerful enough to tackle thick stubble
- 80+ minutes of cordless run time
- Short charging time (1.5 hours)
Cons
- No pop-up trimmer is included.
- Not suitable for uneven surfaces.
Other than Panasonic, Philips, and Braun, are there any other brands of electric razors?
As an avid user of electric razors, I’ve had my fair share of disappointments with models that run out of juice mid-shave.
That’s why I was intrigued by the Andis ProFoil Lithium Titanium Foil, which boasts a long-lasting battery and the ability to run while plugged in.
Not only does it have a surprisingly hard-to-find feature among electric razors, but it also comes with hypo-allergenic gold-titanium foils and enough power to tackle even thick stubble.
The battery life is impressive, with a run time of just over 80 minutes cordlessly and a charging time of only an hour and a half. This feature alone is a game-changer for those who, like me, tend to forget to charge their devices regularly.
Plus, the option to plug it in and run it as a corded shaver is a thoughtful touch.
However, it’s not all sunshine and rainbows with this model. The Andis ProFoil is undeniably a brick, with an extremely boxy shape that can make it awkward to hold and doesn’t particularly conform to facial contours. While the foil cassette is flexible, the head cannot pivot, making it trickier for uneven surfaces.
Additionally, there is no pop-up trimmer included, which means this razor is only suitable for trimming stubble.
My impression:
All in all, the Andis ProFoil Lithium Titanium Foil is an excellent choice for those who prioritize battery life and the option to run their razor while plugged in. If you’re willing to overlook its boxy shape and lack of a pop-up trimmer, this razor can help bail you out of dead battery woes and provide a smooth shave.

One of the standout features of the Philips Norelco 3500 is its ability to provide a comfortable and close shave without irritating my sensitive skin.
This is due in part to the razor’s ComfortCut Blade System, which features rounded edges that glide smoothly over the skin. I’ve found that this razor is particularly effective for shaving my neck area, which can be prone to irritation.

However, the Philips Norelco 3800 is not without its downsides. While it does provide a close shave, it may not be as close as some of the higher-end models on the market.
Additionally, the razor heads can be a bit tricky to clean thoroughly, which can lead to a buildup of hair and other debris.
My impression:
Anyway, if you’re looking for a budget-friendly razor that provides a close and comfortable shave, the Philips Norelco Shaver 3800 is definitely worth considering.
But if you’re willing to spend a bit more, the Philips Norelco 5700 and other higher-end models may be worth the investment for their additional features and functions.

Panasonic ES-LV97-K is one of the best electric razors for men that I’ve ever used. This model has been on the market for a few years now, and it’s still as popular as ever among those who prioritize a close and comfortable shave.
One of the standout features of the Panasonic ES-LV97-K is the five-blade shaving system. The blades are positioned at a 30-degree angle, which allows them to cut hair with incredible precision and efficiency.

Another feature that sets the ES-LV97-K apart from other electric razors is its powerful motor. This razor is capable of delivering 14,000 cuts per minute, making it one of the fastest electric razors on the market.
This translates to a smooth and effortless shaving experience, even when dealing with thick or coarse hair.
The Panasonic ES-LV97-K is also waterproof, which means it can be used in the shower or with shaving cream for a wet shave.
This feature is a game-changer for those with sensitive skin who require a little extra lubrication to prevent irritation. Plus, cleaning this razor is a breeze – simply rinse it under running water and you’re good to go.
Of course, like any product, there are some downsides to the Panasonic ES-LV97-K. The biggest downside is the price – this is a high-end razor that comes with a high-end price tag. Additionally, the razor head is quite large, which can make it tricky to navigate tight areas like under the nose or around the jawline.
However, if you’re willing to invest in a quality razor that will last you for years to come, the ES-LV97-K is definitely worth considering.
My impression
It’s also worth noting that Panasonic has several other electric razor models worth considering, depending on your needs and budget. The ES-LV67-K, for example, is a slightly older model that still delivers an excellent shave at a more affordable price point.
The ES-LA63-S is another model to consider, especially if you’re on a budget – it’s a great entry-level razor that still delivers a quality shave.
In conclusion, the Panasonic ES-LV97-K is one of the best electric razors for men currently available.
Its five-blade shaving system, powerful motor, and waterproof design make it a top choice for those who prioritize a close, comfortable, and efficient shave. Just be prepared to invest a little extra for this high-end model.
Why You Should Trust Us?
As a trusted reviewer, I understand the importance of delivering accurate and unbiased information to my readers.
That’s why I always purchase the products I review at retail prices and test them side by side. To ensure that our findings are comprehensive, I spent over ten hours using these electric razors on my face and dozens more charging, discharging, and cleaning them.
I also tested models that claim both wet and dry use by lathering up and patting down.
Analysis and Test Results
To assess each electric razor, I divided my testing into four different metrics, each with its own specific considerations.
Shave quality, which accounts for 35% of the overall score weighting, is critical. I also evaluated runtime and charge time, ease of use and versatility, and ease of cleaning.
By analyzing these metrics, I can provide you with a detailed comparison of each model’s performance.
Value
In addition to the primary metrics, I also evaluated each razor’s value. This metric considers the relationship between a model’s total score and its price. Some razors are expensive but perform exceptionally well, while others are budget-friendly options that still deliver above-average performance.
For example, the Braun Series 9 Pro is pricey, but it offers one of the closest shaves available, as well as top-of-the-line features. Meanwhile, the Braun Series 5 and Remington Balder Pro offer fantastic performance for their more economical price points, making them excellent value options.
When it comes to finding the best electric razor for men, I know how important it is to consider various factors, from performance to value.
By testing each razor and evaluating it based on specific criteria, I can provide you with an informed and reliable review that helps you choose the perfect men’s electric razor for your needs.
Shave Quality
As someone who has tested various electric razors, I understand the importance of shave quality. It’s crucial to feel a smooth and close shave, and that’s why this metric has the highest weighting in our review.
I evaluate how quickly and easily the razor can achieve a close shave, how many passes it takes, and the power of any included trimmers.
I also test for wet and dry performance and assess how well the razor performs on different areas of the face.
After testing numerous electric razors, the Braun Series 9 Pro remains at the top of the list in terms of shave quality. It has a powerful motor and provides a close shave in the least amount of time with the fewest passes.
However, its pop-up trimmer could be better, and its price tag may not be suitable for everyone.
The Braun Series 5, on the other hand, is an excellent value and delivers impressive performance, although it doesn’t pivot quite as well as the Series 9 Pro.
The Panasonic Arc5 Cordless also performs admirably in this category. Its head has some of the same pivot points as the Series 9 Pro, and it proved particularly effective under the chin.
The Remington F5 Foil, Braun Series 7, and Andis ProFoil also offer powerful performance for a close shave on three-day stubble. Additionally, the Philips Norelco OneBlade Hybrid provides the best shave quality for body grooming razors.
Although it’s not meant for a baby-smooth result, we didn’t experience any tugging during dry shaving with a two-week beard.
The Remington Balder Pro and the Skull Shaver Pitbull Gold Pro are two head shaver models that deliver near-skin close shaves.
Although the Remington produces slightly better results, the Skull Shaver Pitbull Gold Pro is a fantastic option for men who want to shave their heads easily and quickly.
Run Time and Charge Time
When it comes to electric razors, run time and charge time are crucial factors that I always consider. I want to know how long it takes to charge the razor. How long it lasts on a single charge? And how long it takes to quick-charge for a single shave. The charge time to run-time ratio is also an essential consideration.
Based on my experience, the Braun Series 9 Pro is the best men’s electric razor in this category. It offers an above-average total shave time and a below-average charge time. It even comes with a heavy-duty hard case that doubles as a travel charger. This makes it convenient to bring along for trips.
For those looking for a razor with an extended run time, the Andis ProFoil is the best option. It can last for over 80 minutes on a single charge and reaches full capacity within 90 minutes of plugging it in.
The Pitbull Gold Pro, on the other hand, is the longest-lasting head shaver that I have tried. It with a full 90 minutes of run time. Although it takes 2.5 hours to charge, it is not the slowest to juice up.
Other above-average models include the Panasonic Arc5, Braun Series 5, Remington F5 Foil, and Braun Series 7. These electric razors offer an average run time of around 45-50 minutes on a single charge. They can reach full capacity after around an hour of charging.
It is worth noting that Panasonic Travel is not rechargeable and runs on two AA batteries. The Philips Norelco 2300 has a charge time of eight hours for 45 minutes of run time. But it can still be used while plugged in. Lastly, the Remington Balder Pro has a commendable run time of 70 minutes, although it takes four hours to charge.
Ease of Use & Versatility
When it comes to choosing a razor, ease of use and versatility are key factors for me. If a razor is difficult to use, I’m less likely to use it regularly.
So, I look for a razor that claims it can be used safely both wet and dry, and ideally, is waterproof so I can use it in the shower.
It’s also important to have indicator lights for battery levels, travel locks, and blade replacement. I consider the included trimmers as well and how comfortable they are to angle correctly, along with any additional features.
I love razors that have adaptive power modes and ergonomic designs because they make shaving more enjoyable.
While many electric razors can be rinsed underwater, some models like the Micro Touch SOLO, Remington F5 Foil, Philips Norelco 2300, and Andis ProFoil claim to be dry-only for shaving.
On the other hand, some models like the Braun Series 5, Remington Balder Pro, and Panasonic Arc4 Electric have solid auxiliary trimmers. Making them great options for those looking for a versatile razor.
The Braun Series 7 is my personal favorite. Because it not only has trimmer heads but comes with an exceptional array of attachments to go along with it. If you’re looking for a high-performance beard trimmer, the Philips Norelco OneBlade Hybrid is a great choice.
However, I was surprised that the Series 9 Pro and the Philips Norelco 2300 have less-than-impressive trimmers.
Some models like the Panasonic Travel and Andis ProFoil don’t have any trimmer at all.
If you’re looking for a razor with a full-featured display. The Panasonic Arc5 has a robust set of indicator lights that give you insight into the status of your electric razor.
Ease of Cleaning
When it comes to my shaving routine, cleaning is an essential factor for me. If it’s difficult to clean, I’m less likely to use it consistently. So, when evaluating razors, I consider the features that facilitate cleaning. Drainage ports, release buttons, and rinsing capabilities all play a role in making the job easier.
Some contenders even come with self-cleaning bases, and I analyze whether they’re worth the hype.
Fortunately, most of the models I’ve tried are relatively easy to clean and require low maintenance. For instance, the Series 7 and Series 9 Pro come with self-cleaning stations that make cleaning a set-and-forget task. Although the cleaning units themselves require periodic maintenance.
The Philips Norelco 9500 also has a cleaning base, but it doesn’t charge the razor like the Braun models. The Braun Series 5 has holes at the neck that let you flush out trimmings with water.
What impressed me the most is how easy it is to clean the Remington Balder Pro. Simply apply an even, firm pressure to the base of the shaver head housing, and the top pops off. Since it’s waterproof, you can rinse it out after each shave.
Final words from me
Choosing the right electric shaver can be a daunting task. And I understand how overwhelming it can be to navigate the sea of options available in the market. I have researched and analyzed various models to provide you with the best recommendations. My goal was to find the shavers that offer the best value for their price, not just the ones with the most hype.
However, I also understand that everyone’s preferences and needs are unique. So, if you come across a different model that meets your requirements and performs similarly, go for it! It’s all about finding the right fit for you.
It’s worth noting that some of the shavers I’ve recommended may become discontinued or updated in the future. I will make sure to keep this list up-to-date to reflect any changes in the market.
I genuinely hope that my recommendations will simplify the process for you. If you found this post helpful, consider subscribing to the newsletter for more content like this.

In just a few years, I witnessed Norelco’s remarkable decline from being the best in the market to the worst. Their current lineup of electric shavers is nothing short of disappointing. Specifically, the 9000 Series, which was introduced as a replacement for the highly regarded 8000 Series (Sensotouch 3D), falls far short in terms of quality and performance. Personally, I had the opportunity to try both models, and I was astounded by how severely Phillips missed the mark with their newer iteration.
Realizing the shortcomings of the 9000 Series, I decided to return to my trusted 8000 Series shaver. However, to my dismay, I discovered that the original replacement heads for this model are no longer being produced. This revelation truly saddened me because, in my experience, the 8000 Series was the only electric shaver capable of effortlessly dealing with a week’s worth of stubble without causing any pulling or tugging sensations.

Hey there Luther,
I wanted to share my thoughts on the transition from the old RQ12 heads to the new ones utilizing the SH90 individual cutters. It was definitely a controversial move, to say the least. Speaking from my own experience, the performance drop wasn’t too significant for me personally. I still manage to achieve very satisfying results with the new heads. However, I’m well aware that many users of the Series 8000, like myself, were absolutely outraged by the performance of these new shavers and cutters.
Given the outcry from customers, I sincerely hope that Philips/Norelco takes notice and swiftly addresses this issue. It’s crucial for them to be aware of the current situation and respond with a revision that meets the expectations of their loyal users.
Warm regards,
Dominic Tuan

I decided to take matters into my own hands and embarked on an experiment to resharpen my RQ12+ heads using a polishing compound. To my surprise, the sharpening did enhance their cutting performance to some extent. However, despite the improvement, they still fall short of delivering the consistently smooth shave I strive for. While they may appear visually pleasing, the overall shaving experience leaves much to be desired.
Dominic Tuan says
Hey Mike T!
When it comes to sharpening kits, I’ve found that certain ones, like the Vollco kits, can actually work quite well. However, it’s crucial to ensure that the blade sits perfectly flush and flat on the guard; otherwise, the cutting performance of the shaver will undoubtedly suffer. Speaking from personal experience, I can assure you that investing in the Series 9000 shaver with the SH98 heads will be a game-changer. In fact, I dare say that these rotary blades are some of the smoothest I’ve ever had the pleasure of using.
Wishing you a truly enjoyable grooming experience with your new Series 9000 shaver and the remarkable SH98 heads!
Warm regards,
Dominic Tuan

I recently tried out the Braun 9 on my head, and I must say it worked quite well for that purpose. However, when it came to shaving my beard, particularly the tricky areas around my neck and chin, it fell flat and proved to be rather ineffective. If you’re considering this shaver solely for your head, then by all means go for it. However, I am currently in search of a shaver that excels in both head and neck grooming, as it’s important for me to find a solution that caters to both areas seamlessly.

Thank you for sharing your experience with the Braun 9 shaver! It’s interesting to hear that it worked well for shaving your head but fell short when it came to grooming your beard, specifically the tricky areas around your neck and chin. Different shavers can have varying strengths and weaknesses, so it’s helpful to know about these specific areas where the Braun series 9 didn’t meet your expectations.

After the Philips 9000 Prestige arrived late, Philips promptly refunded my purchase. Surprisingly, they also sent a replacement. When I informed them, they insisted I keep it as a gesture of appreciation for my honesty. Their exceptional customer service matches the excellence of the razor itself, which continues to deliver a flawless shaving experience, even after extended use.

I own both the Braun series 7 and Braun series 9 razors. I personally use and enjoy both models, but when it comes to the lifespan of the cleaning cartridge, the series 7 lasts significantly longer. However, if you prioritize a closer shave, series 9 is the way to go.

Hi there,
It’s great to hear that you own both the Braun series 7 and series 9 razors.
Having options allows you to choose the one that suits your needs at any given time. The series 7’s longer-lasting cleaning cartridge is definitely a notable advantage, as it provides convenience and saves you from frequent replacements. On the other hand, if you prioritize a closer shave, the series 9’s performance is exceptional in delivering that desired result.
It’s wonderful that you have found enjoyment and benefits in both models. Do you have any specific tips or techniques that you use when using either razor? Feel free to share your experiences with us!

I used to own the Braun 7, but I’ve recently switched to the Panasonic Arc 5. The difference in closeness was immediately noticeable, almost to the point of being unbelievable. While the Panasonic Arc 5 is a bit bulky, you quickly adapt to its size, and it’s simple to clean by hand. To ensure smooth operation, I apply Braun shaver spray for lubrication. Since my facial hair is coarse and challenging, I make multiple passes while shaving. However, I don’t have to press it hard against my skin, and I’ve never experienced any issues with skin irritation or the like.

Hi Cristin, Thank you for sharing your experience with the Braun 7 and the Panasonic Arc 5! It’s great to hear that you found a noticeable difference in closeness when you switched to the Panasonic Arc 5. Adaptability to its size and easy hand cleaning are definite advantages. Applying Braun shaver spray for lubrication is a good tip for ensuring smooth operation.
It’s also impressive that the Panasonic Arc 5 handles your coarse facial hair well, allowing you to make multiple passes without pressing too hard against your skin. The fact that you haven’t experienced any issues with skin irritation is a testament to its performance.
The Panasonic Arc5 has multiple models, and here I have provided a detailed review of the ES-LV65-s model. You can check it out here: https://shavingcheck.com/panasonic-es-lv65-s-reviews/
